"We had a fantastic time at Mandala and this will be the only place we stay when we are visiting Ojochal. Everything was designed to be beautiful but also comfortable. Mandala is located so close to the main village and yet when you are on the property, everything feels quiet. The villas are warm and inviting, and we loved the terrace where we could listen to the sounds of the jungle around us. The mountain views are incredible and the infinity pool was a great place to relax. Everyone on the property was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!"

Nestled between the jungle highlands and the Pacific Ocean, our 14-acre property sits at the confluence of two of the planet’s most biologically rich ecosystems, offering retreat guests an immersive encounter with Costa Rica at its most pristine and alive.

The Southern Pacific Zone enjoys a warm tropical climate year-round, lush green canopy and abundant wildlife. Ojochal is a remarkable bicultural village where world-class cuisine, artisan culture, and deep ecological stewardship coexist in easy harmony. Our location places guests within easy reach of Marino Ballena National Park as well as the beloved towns of Uvita and Dominical, pristine rivers, and some of Costa Rica’s most spectacular natural attractions.

International arrivals fly into San José or Quepos; from there, our team coordinates seamless ground transportation to bring guests directly to our door.

Located in one of the most ecologically rich and least-discovered regions in all of Costa Rica, Mandala Ojochal was designed from the ground up with the purpose of providing guests with the most pristine environment for deep relaxation and retreat hosts with an intentional setting for transformational work. Every structure, space, and system on our 14-acre jungle property exists in service of that purpose.
